Forest Aura is a unique business that is run by just one dedicated individual who is deeply passionate about crafting high-quality candles and diffusers.. In 2024 I decided to take a leap of faith, 'empower' myself and leave my busy Merchandising career of 26 years and do something completely new for myself, something that could provide a flexible work/life balance.
As a candle lover myself and trying to find luxury quality candles at affordable prices I set up Forest Aura.
Forest Aura provides luxury handmade candles made from premium ingredients, using 100% soy wax that is vegan friendly and GMO free, combining it with premium fragranced oils including some essential oils. The company name is inspired by some of the scents/ingredients of the forest that are used in the candles.
Each candle is handcrafted in my kitchen in Leeds, in small batches and tested. All packaging is either recyclable or re-useable, with all labels produced on recycled paper. Caring for the environment is at the core of the business. I am passionate about creating products that are not only delightful for the senses but also align with my values of sustainability and ethics.
Candles are an ideal present to give to someone else, or simply for treating yourself. They can envelop a feeling of inner peace, an attachment to a time, a place, or a person. They evoke memories and feelings.
